Zarina is a venezuelan multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, Spain and mostly dedicated to the research and creation of movement, audiovisuals, drawing, painting, teaching and performing arts events.

Starting as a high level rhythmic gymnastic athlete at four years old and becoming a gymnastic trainer at the age of fifthteen, for the very first moment she knew that her passion was, and still is, sharing ideas through movement and getting to know the human body and mind from deep consciousness to complete freedom. Interacting, flowing and connecting with time and space (and other human beings) almost in a poetic way, naturally, available and open to life changes.

With a degree in Social Communications & Journalism, plus a three years journey into physical theater (Lecoq technique)  she now has another perspective of storytelling and how to use the body as a whole-tool-medium to have a better understanding of ourselves, our emotions and body mechanics. Unblocking limits and empowering “the self” to become our better version in this physical terrain.

Zarina´s universe is very mixed, as well as her aptitudes.

2014 was sort of a sabbatical year, so she started to draw and paint a bit more seriously as an activity beside the creation of a clothes and accessories brand called "Qué Pájaro Eres", where she made everything from design, manufacturing all products in a very handcrafted way to manage all social media platforms and the production and direction of a promo video and three photoshoots. That year she realized that all this world of visual arts was something she wanted to explore more deeply and as the time is passing she has been having great opportunities to collaborate, be a talent, create, produce and direct different visual projects, always focussing in movement and dance combined with nature.

Nowadays, she is immersed in the world of yoga, meditation, self-knowledge, self-growth, silence, stillness, nature, martial arts, music, healthy food, sustainability, conscious consumption and continuous learning. Believing that trusting in ourselves, speaking out loud our voice, being committed with our values, beliefs and connecting with our purpose in life is the beautiful journey of human salvation and self healing.
